| Apprenticeship Training Scheme |

| After completing craftsman training a trainee is considered as a semi-skilled worker & practical training in the industry is highly essential to make the trainee skilled. Under Apprenticeship Training Scheme the passed out trainees are selected for undergoing Apprentice Training in different industries. Under the revised Apprenticeship Act 1991, seats are allocated in different industries through State Apprentice Advisor. After completion of this training a trainee becomes a skilled worker. |

| For Sundargarh Zone, the Principal, I.T.I., Rourkela is declared as Deputy Apprenticeship Advisor. He is authorized to engage the passed out trainees of all the ITI/ITC's located in this zone on ATS. Seats are allocated in industries such as L&T Kansbahal, OCL Rajgangpur, WESCO, Hari Machines Rajgangpur, IDL Rourkela and many other SSI units located in this zone. More than 700 of seats located in this Zone. |
